The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards don’t air until Wednesday night (9/16), but the wins are already starting to roll in. On Monday morning, the hosts of CBS This Morning announced that Miranda Lambert, Maren Morris, Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes, Caylee Hammack and Elle King won the Music Event of the Year award for their powerhouse collaboration, “Fooled Around And Fell In Love.” The women, who all previously joined Lambert on her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour, reacted to the news this morning.

“What a day,” wrote Lambert, who spearheaded the collaboration. “I’m so happy to share this moment with these artists I respect so much. Not only that, I’m thankful to call them friends. Love y’all!”

Maren Morris, who gave birth to her first child in March, also reacted to the news, writing, “I just got done changing a dirty diaper and THIS?! My kid doesn’t know why I’m screaming. YAY, GIRLS!”

The Music Event award marked Elle King’s first ACM win and her second nomination, after being nominated for “Different For Girls” with Dierks Bentley 2017.

“Couldn’t think of a better group of female artists to win a bad ass award,” King wrote on Twitter. “Congrats ladies!”

The collaboration and the nomination that followed brought a few of country music’s newer names to the forefront, as it included Ashley McBryde, Tenille Townes and Caylee Hammack. The award brings Townes’ ACM trophy count up to two, as it was announced earlier this year that she would take home the win for New Female Artist of the Year. She reacted with excitement to the latest win on social media.

“Oh my goooooodness this is so exciting!!!!!!! Such an honour to be a part of this song and to get to celebrate this with these amazing voices and humans!!!!!! We won an ACM haha that sentence is the craziest thing!!!!!! Thank you @mirandalambert for having me,” she wrote.

For newcomer Caylee Hammack, the award marks her first win at the ACMs, and she also shared her gratitude on Monday.
