Miranda Lambert and her hot country trio Pistol Annies took on the Big Apple this morning.
Lambert kicked off the day with a heartfelt performance of her latest No.1 single, “Over You,” on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” Prior to her performance she spoke with host Robin Roberts about her recent stint of vocal rest and the story behind “Over You.” The singer said she hopes the song helps heal some people’s hearts and dedicated it to the victims of the recent Colorado shooting.
After appearing on “GMA,” Miranda sat down with Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Sherri Shepherd as a special guest co-host on “The View.” In addition, Lambert took the stage with Pistol Annies to perform “Takin’ Pills.”
“It’s kinda crazy right now,” Lambert said while on “The View.” “[Blake Shelton is] already taping Season 3 of ‘The Voice.’ So I’m in L.A. a lot of the time, and I’m on tour, and he’s not really able to tour right now. He’s just doing dates here and there.”
