Miranda Lambert Raises $120K For The Humane Society Of East Texas

Miranda Lambert’s Second Annual “Cause For The Paws” event was held on May 17th. This year’s event was very succesful! Miranda raised $120,000 for the Humane Society Of East Texas! Last year, the event raised $113,000.

“I can’t express how much this year’s ‘Cause For the Paws’ event touched me, ” stated Miranda. “The giving spirit of those who were at the event this year was truly inspiring. It means the world to me and to the animals of East Texas. I am excited to see the improvements that we will make at the shelter. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I cannot wait to see everyone next year!”

The event included included a silent and live auction, food and wine tasting, a Meet & Mingle VIP private cocktail party for sponsors of the event and a concert with Miranda and her boyfriend Blake Shelton.

“It’s hard to think that last year’s event could have been beaten… But this year everything was just perfect,” states Executive Director of Humane Society of East Texas, Gayle Helmes. “Everything from the performances, to the auction, to the weather and the gorgeous venue, it all came together and we brought great awareness to this cause and raised money to help make improvements to our shelter. None of this would have been possible without Miranda and her supporters so we are grateful.”
