Miranda Lambert and her husband Brendan McLoughlin celebrated their 2-year wedding anniversary on Tuesday, January 26. Lambert commemorated the special occasion with a romantic photo of the two of them from the music video shoot for her song, “Settling Down.”

“2 years hitched,” she wrote in the caption.

McLoughlin also marked the event with a less formal photo of Lambert striking a pose while cooking something up in their kitchen.

“Happy anniversary to this amazing woman,” he wrote.

Lambert surprised fans with news of her nuptials to McLoughlin, a former New York City Police officer, in February 2019 with photos from their wedding.

“In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” she wrote in the announcement post. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me. #theone.”

Since their marriage, Lambert has kept fans updated on their life together, often posting humorous photos and videos from around their home and farm. When the COVID-19 pandemic paused touring in 2020, Lambert and McLoughlin took that as an opportunity to buy a new airstream trailer and take off on a road trip, which she documented on social media.

“I have the most amazing travel companion, my husband, and we decided to add a family member,” she wrote in May, alongside a photo of the new trailer.
