Breakout artist Mitchell Tenpenny offers a neon blast of eye candy in the new video for “Alcohol You Later.”

The visual-stunner features woozy, overlapping scenes and finds Tenpenny drifting in and out of booze-fueled romantic memories. Vibrant colors trace the screen while Tenpenny appears to stay still, teleporting between a barroom and a chic apartment loft. Meanwhile, the newcomer’s smoky, soulful vocal takes center stage.

TK McKamy directs the clip, following a couple who only seem to be in each other’s lives when alcohol is involved. “Alcohol You Later” was written by Tenpenny with Michael Lotten, and Sam Sumer, and appears on his Telling All My Secrets album debut. It’s the follow up to his Platinum-certified No. 1, “Drunk Me.”

Tenpenny will be up for his first ACM Award at this year’s April 7 ceremony – nominated for New Male Artist of the Year. He’s currently on the road with Old Dominion’s Make It Sweet Tour through April 27th.
