Breakout success Mitchell Tenpenny readies his new EP Midtown Diaries for a September 10th release.

The eight songs that make up the project were all co-written by Mitchell who also co-produced the tracks along side Jordan M. Schmidt. Included on the new EP is the track “Truth About You” which is his largest streaming debut, so far, with 2.5 million streams earned in its first 3 days of release.

“We’ve waited a very long time to bring our fans a new collection of music,” said Mitchell. “I’m so pumped with their enthusiasm each time we release a new song. Their feedback is priceless and it lets us know exactly how we are doing and feeds my creativity.”

Just announced as well is the Riser House/Columbia Nashville artist’s headlining To Us It Did Tour starting on September 23rd. The tour features Drew Green opening in all 12 cities including a stand at the world famous Ryman Auditorium on October 10. A portion of the proceeds from the night will go to the 10Penny Fund, which Mitchell created in 2018 to support programs that help build community, motivate patients and encourage healing for people facing cancer and their loved ones. It’s a personal mission for Mitchell and is based in the lessons his family learned when his own father went through the cancer treatment process.
