More Than 200 People Attend Mindy McCready’s Memorial Service in Nashville

More than 200 people gathered at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville on Wednesday afternoon to honor and remember the life of Mindy McCready, who took her own life last month at her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

The memorial service began with a recording of “I’ll See You Yesterday,” the last song Mindy recorded before her untimely death.

McCready’s mother, two brothers and other members of her family sat in the front row of the church as friends and members of the Country music community honored the talented singer’s life. Longtime friends Bryan White, Bekka Bramlett and Lorrie Morgan offered musical tributes during the service.

McCready was laid to rest on Feb. 26 in Fort Myers, FL.
