Morgan Frazier Earns Spot On Team Blake With Country Version Of ‘I Want You To Want Me’
Night three of NBC The Voice blind auditions continued on Monday (9/28). Coach Blake Shelton went into the third round with five members — Blind Joe, Zach Seabaugh, Emily Ann Roberts, Nadjah Nicole and Barrett Baber — from last week’s auditions.
Kicking off last night’s auditions was 22-year-old Nashville, TN native Morgan Frazier. Frazier had everyone convinced that she’d be singing a classic country song when she talked with a thick Southern accent, but chose to perform her own country-infused arrangement to “I Want You To Want Me” by Cheap Trick. Both Shelton and Gwen Stefani turned around for Morgan, and to no one’s surprise, she went with Shelton, bringing his team count up to six.

The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC.
