Morgan Wallen brought his “Whiskey Glasses” to the Grand Ole Opry house stage on Wednesday, September 16 for the 55th Annual ACM Awards. The singer, dressed in a denim jacket, white shirt, and jeans, performed the hit song with his full band onstage. While he sang, clips from his “Whiskey Glasses” music video, which shows whiskey getting poured, views of downtown Nashville bars, and Wallen actually putting shot glasses on his face as whiskey glasses, played on the screens on either side of him.

While this year’s award’s show does not feature a live audience, Wallen still found a way to include his fans. When he got to the bridge of the song where he repeatedly sings, “Line ‘em up, line ‘em up,” some of Wallen’s fans appeared on the video screen behind him and were seen singing right along with him. The seats of the Grand Ole Opry house also featured colored lights where the audience would usually sit.

In addition to performing on the show, Wallen was also nominated for New Male Artist of the Year alongside Riley Green, Cody Johnson, Jordan Davis and Russell Dickerson. However, it was previously announced that Green won the award.

The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards aired from Nashville, TN on Wednesday, September 16 on CBS after being postponed from their original date in April. The performances  took place from the Grand Ole Opry House, the Bluebird Cafe and the Ryman Auditorium. Other performers include Carrie Underwood, Miranda Lambert, Dan + Shay and more.

The 55th Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Keith Urban, are live from Nashville tonight (9/16) on CBS at 8/7c.
