Buzzy hit maker Morgan Wallen is celebrating back-to-back chart toppers with his current single “Whiskey Glasses,” taking the 100-proof breakup anthem to No.1 on multiple charts.

Written by Ben Burgess and Kevin Kadish, the track is part of Wallen’s If I Know Me album debut and features an intoxicating woozy backbeat, washed down with bold lyrics about self medicating a broken heart. The grooving single hit the top of both Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase’s radio charts this week – marking his second straight No.1 at country radio – and also stands at the pinnacle of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, which measures a combination of radio play, streaming and digital downloads. And like that wasn’t enough, “Whiskey Glasses” is also Spotify’s No.1 Country song in the entire U.S.

“Never had I dreamed I’d be celebrating a No.1 song, so the fact that this is two in a row is mind-blowing to me,” Wallen tells Billboard. “I’m thankful for everyone who has believed in me since day one: The Lord, my team, my family, my fans and my friends at Country radio. This song is a special one, and I’m just getting started.”

“Whiskey Glasses” is the follow up to Wallen’s platinum-certified No.1, “Up Down” (featuring Florida Georgia Line), and the Tennessee native is currently rocking huge crowds as he gears up for Florida Georgia Line’s Can’t Say I Ain’t Country Tour.

He’ll have a number of appearances on tap for CMA Music Festival week in Nashville, including a performance slot on the CMT Music Awards tonight (June 5th), a fan club party and shows at the HGTV Lounge, Ole Red Nashville and the Chevy Riverfront stage.
