A new INDYCAR Racing Festival will call Nashville, TN home in the summer of 2021. Scheduled for August 6-8, 2021, the Music City Grand Prix will make its debut in the heart of the city, with a temporary grand prix track in downtown Nashville and around Nissan Stadium.

Festival planners promise a unique, only-in-Nashville experience that will include live music, southern style food experiences and much more.

“With Nashville’s deep motorsports roots combined with its ability to deliver world class live music the music city grand prix is certain to throw a party that only Nashville can delivery, Buckle up it’s gonna be a wild ride,” said Kix Brooks, who is slated to perform during the festival. Other performers will be revealed at a later time.

The race track will also feature several never-before-seen elements for INCYCAR racing. The 2.17-mile track will race across the Korean Veterans Memorial Bridge into downtown Nashville and back, making the experience one of the only events in motorsports to cross a major body of water. The course, which will be the first added to INDYCAR since 2013, features 11 turns and a number of straightaways for drivers to pass one another.
