Randy Travis Announces The Music of Randy Travis Tour, Featuring James Dupré

Fans of country legend Randy Travis will get to hear the singer’s music live this fall when The Music of Randy Travis Tour begins. During a press conference at The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum on Wednesday afternoon (9/4), Travis, along with his wife Mary, announced the news.

The tour will begin in October and feature the vocal stylings of singer James Dupré. Joining him will be Travis’ long-time touring band, comprised of Steve Hinson, David Johnson, Lance Dary, Bill Cook, Joe Van Dyke and Herb Shucher.

“We are incredibly excited to be back on the road and give Randy’s fans a chance to hear his music live again, and who better to sing his many hits than James Dupré?” said Mary and Randy Travis in a press release.

The shows will feature Dupré singing many of Travis’ hits, including “On The Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen” and “Three Wooden Crosses.” The country icon will also make special appearances, with meet and greets available as well.
