Nashville star Chris Carmack has tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Erin Slaver. The couple said “I do” during a ceremony at Mint Springs Farm in Nolensville, TN on Friday, Oct. 19.
“Chris and I are overjoyed to now be husband and wife!” Slaver told PEOPLE. “The wedding, although a blur, couldn’t have been a more perfect beginning to the adventure that lies ahead for our family.”
Sam Palladio, one of Carmack’s Nashville co-stars, attended the ceremony with Cassadee Pope as his date. He shared a series of photos to his Instagram, captioning the collection with “2 of my favorite people in the world got married this weekend.”
The CMT hit show played a huge part in Carmack and Slaver’s relationship. Slaver was playing violin in a band with Palladio’s character Gunnar and also appeared as a backup singer for Hayden Panettiere’s Juliette Barnes. She quickly impressed Carmack and the two became fast friends. They began dating a year later.
Carmack popped the question in March 2016 on a rooftop of a hotel in New York. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, on August 30, 2016.
Though Nashville has ended, Carmack has since landed a role on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy as Dr. Atticus Lincoln. He also previously starred as Luke Ward on The O.C. from 2003 to 2004.
