Nashville New Year’s Eve Concert Canceled

Trace Adkins was scheduled to play two shows with Lynyrd Skynard on New Year’s Eve (one in Nashville and one in Pikeville, KY), but due to low ticket sales, the Nashville show at the Sommet Center was canceled.

Steve Moore of MEG/AEG Live said, “For the past 12 years, we’ve been fortunate to have the biggest names in music celebrate New Year’s Eve in Nashville, but there is no denying that our core audience has been financially challenged by the hard realities of a flattened economy.”

Trace also decided to go ahead and cancel the KY show as well to spend time with his family.

38 special will replace Trace at the Pikeville, KY show.
