That’s a wrap! The cast of CMT’s Nashville is seemingly done with scenes for their upcoming series finale. In a post to Instagram, Charles Esten, who plays Deacon Claybourne, shared a video of himself with his TV daughters as they spun around within their kitchen set.

“That’s it, the last scene we’re shooting together… in the kitchen,” he said as he embraced Lennon and Maisy Stella (Maddie and Daphne). The girls pouted as they circled the kitchen in his embrace, but quickly broke into laughter during the dramatic video clip.

He also shared the clip on his Instagram stories, as well as a follow-up about his final scene in his music room.

Nashville will wrap after the final eight episodes of season six air this summer. The musical drama has had a rabid fan base since it began on ABC in 2012. At the conclusion of season four, the major network revealed it’d no longer renew the series, much to the dismay of fans.

After rallying for weeks, the show was rejuvenated when CMT picked it up. While it lasted for two more seasons, the network revealed that season six would be its last. The news was emotional, both for fans of the series and the hard-working and talented cast.

“Hard to express the amount of gratitude in my heart. This role, this show, and this city have changed everything for me and mine. I’ll have plenty of time to give my thanks to so many, but for now: To our incredibly loyal #Nashies all over the world: THANK YOU 💝 #NoYouNoUs,” Esten posted to his followers upon hearing of the show’s cancellation.

As the show prepares to enter its final chapter, Esten, as well as castmates Clare BowenChris CarmackJonathan Jackson and Sam Palladio, will embark on a final European tour, hitting cities across the United Kingdom.

The final eight episodes of Nashville will begin to air on Thursday, June 7, at 9 p.m. EST on CMT.
