Country Music Hall of Fame member Charlie Daniels passed away in 2020 at the age of 83, but the fiddle-sawing icon isn’t done making music just yet.

Out July 16 and available only through Walmart, Daniels will return with a cast of country’s biggest names, releasing the posthumous Duets album.

Featuring 19 songs in total and a who’s who of iconic artists, the project finds Daniels sharing the mic on his biggest hits, and even a few famous covers.

Dolly Parton, Garth Brooks, Brooks & Dunn, Darius Rucker and Vince Gill all make appearances, as well as Brenda Lee, the Del McCoury Band, Brad Paisley, Gretchen Wilson and more. The project was pieced together by Daniels’ longtime manager and president of Blue Hat Records, David Corlew, using Daniels previously-recorded vocals.

“The process of putting this project together was a wonderful time of reflection and it became an overwhelming reminder of how great these tracks are,” Corlew says. “The best of the best joined Charlie in sharing musical styles and great songs.”

Meanwhile, the Charlie Daniels legacy of thrilling live performances will also live on, as his annual Volunteer Jam is set to go ahead in August. The fundraising all-star concert will this year be a tribute to the late icon, featuring Alabama, Randy Travis, Chris Young, the Marshall Tucker Band, Trace Adkins and others. It takes place August 18 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
