Nicole Kidman Surprises Fans On Her Way to the Oscars
Could you imagine seeing Nicole Kidman in the car next to you?
Hollywood was full of glitz and glam as the brightest stars gathered within the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (3/4) to celebrate the best films of the year at the 90th Academy Awards. Among the stars joining the festivities was Big Little Lies star Nicole Kidman, who was on hand to present the award for Best Original Screenplay.
Just hours before her presenting gig, while on her way to get glam, Kidman surprised some lucky fans aboard an Access Hollywood tour bus when she rolled down the window to her car. “Hi, everyone,” she said as the fans began to recognize her.
“You look beautiful,” gushed one of the excited tour-goers, with Kidman laughing, “I haven’t gotten my hair and makeup done yet…”
The once-in-a-lifetime moment was captured on video and posted to Kidman’s Instagram channel.

After creating an unforgettable moment for the lucky few, the Australia native took over Vogue’s Instagram account to chronicle her glam journey leading up to the Oscars. Among the snaps posted on the magazine’s channel were snaps of Kidman’s husband, Keith Urban. Urban, who was unable to join his bride for the big night was sure to FaceTime his love as she got ready for the evening.
Though she wasn’t a nominee for a feature film this year, Kidman has had an exciting awards season, winning the Emmy and the Golden Globe for best actress in a limited series for her portrayal of Celeste Wright in Big Little Lies.
