It’s true that Old Dominion has basically been on fire ever since breaking out with 2015’s “Break Up With Him,” but lately it’s looking more and more like they’re just getting warmed up.

This week, the group celebrated another chart topping single with “One Man Band,” extending their streak to an incredible eight No.1s in a row at country radio. The feat is even more impressive considering “One Man Band” is a thoughtful, down-tempo ballad which is generally less appealing to radio programmers — and on top of that, it’s brought in almost 200 million streams (194 million, to be exact), making it the band’s biggest success to date. Perhaps it shouldn’t come as a surprise since Old Dominion are the reigning ACM and CMA Vocal Group of the Year, but it seems like even the guys themselves are shocked about this one.

Written by the band’s Matthew Ramsey, Trevor Rosen and Brad Tursi with Josh Osborne, the romantic “One Man Band” was released in June and is now also Gold-certified. It comes off Old Dominion’s No.1 selling self-titled album, which dropped into the top spot on Billboard’s Country Albums chart when it was released in October. The band will next perform an intimate two-night stand in Niagara Falls, Canada (An Evening With Old Dominion: The Band Behind the Curtain on December 12 – 13), and then it’s on to Hawaii for the start of the We Are Old Dominion Tour on January 3.
