Country superstar Blake Shelton has announced that the highly-anticipated opening of Ole Red Orlando will be on June 19, at ICON Park™ on International Drive. It was postponed from its original date (April 14) due to COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

“My birthday is June 18, but Ole Red Orlando is opening June 19, that’s way more important,” Shelton shared in an Instagram video announcing the opening.

The 17,289-square foot venue will include two levels of state-of-the-art acoustics, a large stage, high quality production capabilities and lighting—perfect for a great concert experience. On top of that, there will be three bars and separate spaces for indoor and outdoor private events.

Ole Red Orlando’s menu will include signature Ole Red items, specialty cocktails, Shelton-inspired items and a wide range of beer, wine and Orlando specials.

Programming for the restaurant will include curated concert lineups, showcases for up-and-coming talent and live music throughout the week.

Customers can be assured that Ole Red Orlando will open with strict adherence to CDC and local health department safety guidelines. Safe physical distance will be maintained with tables positioned at least six feet apart. Every guest in the restaurant will also have a seat at a table, and only groups of six or less will be seated together. No standing in the restaurant will be permitted, and dance floors will be closed to ensure physical distancing. Additionally, food and drink menus, plates, silverware and condiments will be for single usage and disposable.

Staff will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and receive temperature checks before shifts. Cleaning protocols and precautions have been elevated above the recommended requirements with proactive sanitary and disinfectant measures. The bathrooms have been renovated with hands-free soap, paper towels and faucets. Hand sanitizer stations throughout the building will be available for guests to use as needed.

Individuals can apply to work at the restaurant by submitting an application online and pre-schedule an interview to meet with a hiring manager.
