The Band Perry was forced to pull the plug on their sold-out July 3 concert in Selbyville, Delaware after police say two men made threatening statements about the concert to an employee at the Americana Bayside Welcome Center.

Authorities have made one arrest in the case and say that they have identified the second suspect. According to DelawareOnline.com, Dzmitry N. Papou, 35, of Selbyville turned himself in after surveillance footage of himself and the other suspect was released to local media. Papou was charged with felony terroristic threatening and was released on $20,000 unsecured bail.

Police have not confirmed exactly what the men said to the employee, but said they made “alarming statements” about the concert. The decision to postpone the event was made just minutes before the opening act, Melissa Alesi, was set to take the stage. The Band Perry’s management reportedly met with state and local authorities after the incident, and together, they decided it was best to postpone the event.

The Band Perry shared the news with fans via social media on Sunday. “To our friends + fans in Delaware – Due to heightened security concerns, and for the safety of our fans, the show has been rescheduled for August 17,” the trio wrote. “While we are sad we don’t get to see you tonight, we love you and consider your wellbeing and security our top priority. We’ll see you soon.”

The show will now take place on the Freeman Stage at 7:30 pm on August 17.
