Though the CMA Awards looked different this year in light
of the COVID-19 pandemic, the stars still looked their finest as they walked
the social distance red carpet where feathers and florals were a mainstay.
CMA co-hosts Reba McEntire and Darius Rucker were all smiles as they posed on the red carpet, arms around one another as Rucker looked sharp in a suit and tie and McEntire ravishing in a glittering gown. McEntire also posed for photos with her new beau, Rex Linn, the two making a handsome pair with Linn sporting a navy blue suit coat. Entertainer of the Year nominees Miranda Lambert was looking pretty in pink while Carrie Underwood was glistening in a jeweled black gown. A freshly shaven Thomas Rhett was looking clean cut in an all-black suit while wife Lauren Akins donned a satin baby pink gown.
Meanwhile, Maren Morris was looking fierce on the carpet in a black lace ensemble, husband Ryan Hurd looking at her adoringly in a black and white suit. Luke Combs and wife Nicole were also looking sharp, Combs in an all-blue suit and Nicole in a velvet pink dress as Carly Pearce and Gabby Barrett were both glimmering in green, Barrett walking the carpet in a gorgeous mermaid gown alongside husband Cade Foehner. Jake Owen and his girlfriend Erica Hartlerin made it a classic affair, Owen in a dapper black tux and Hartlein in a flowing white gown, while Jimmie Allen and his fiancée Alexis Gale added flair with Gale’s feather-laden black dress. Jon Pardi and his new fiancee Summer added a pop of color to the carpet, Pardi in a decadent suit coat decorated with red roses and green leaves, matching his wife’s watermelon red dress. Kelsea Ballerini also opted for a floral arrangement, pulling off a daring gown adorned with faux red flowers and green leaves.
