The 2012 CMT Artists of the Year was taped Monday night at The Factory At Franklin just outside of Nashville, TN. Many of country music’s finest including Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Eli Young Band, Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood shined on the red carpet as they arrived for the show.

The 90-minute special, hosted by Country super group Rascal Flatts and “Nashville” actress Hayden Panettiere premieres on Saturday, December 8 at 11:00 p.m., ET/PT. The 2012 CMT Artists of the Year special will also feature Thompson Square, Kenny Rogers, Chris Young, Kenny Chesney, Sammy Hagar, Hunter Hayes and“Duck Dynasty” star Willie Robertson.
