Pistol Annies Member Angaleena Presley is Pregnant

“Holler Annie is having a baby, everybody!”

That’s exactly what Miranda Lambert said when she announced the upcoming arrival of her Pistol Annies’ bandmate’s baby! Angaleena Presley, who makes up one-third of the powerhouse girl group, is expecting her first child with her husband, manager/producer Jordan Powell (she also has a son from a previous marriage).

Lambert announced the news when the Pistol Annies joined her on stage during the Bandwagon Tour stop at the Dos Equis Pavilion on Saturday (8/11). After introducing Presley and Ashley Monroe, Lambert was quick to quote a line from their song “Takin’ Pills.”

“See, one of us is drinking, one of us is smoking and one of us is not taking our pill,” Lambert says as she points to Presley as seen in a video posted by Kiss Country 93.7. Beaming, Presley embraces her belly, showing off her growing bump under her sequin dress.

The crowd erupted into cheers as the women shared the news, with Lambert adding for them to stay tuned to find out whether it’ll be a boy or girl. “Stay tuned for hers. We don’t know what it is, either,” she said.

The news comes hot on the heels of new Pistol Annies music in the works. While the trio has yet to share any concrete news about their third record, they did confirm that it’s been recorded and will be dropping soon.

Lambert has been teasing the news on social media, sharing photos of her writing sessions and simply tagging the group.

The Pistol Annies released two albums previously: 2011’s Hell on Heels and 2013’s Annie Up.
