Miranda Lambert Invites Pistol Annies to Livin’ Like Hippies Tour
Ashley Monroe and Angeleena Presley came out for some on-stage fun with Lambert during her recent weekend shows.
It looks like the highly anticipated reunion of the Pistol Annies is coming sooner rather than later.
Although Miranda Lambert is headlining her own tour for the next few weeks, she wanted to bring along two of her favorite ladies for a good time during her weekend shows. Ashley Monroe and Angeleena Presley of the trio immediately hopped on the bus with Lambert and surprised fans with performances at each show.
The tour may have been about Lambert’s time to shine, but she couldn’t help but get a little girl power morale boost to liven up her shows that much more.

For the past few months, Lambert and the girls continually tease toward recording new music to be released sometime this year. No dates or snippets have been officially released, but it looks that each of the ladies works on writing and creating via previews on their social media accounts.

The Pistol Annies banded together about seven years ago, holding their debut performance at the ACM Awards in 2011 with “Hell on Heels.” The trio gained thousands upon thousands of fans within weeks, propelling them into a whirlwind of two albums and a handful of tours in their prime time. They decided to take a break to pursue their own solo projects in 2016, but look to get back together in the very near future.
Lambert will continue on the Livin’ Like Hippies Tour throughout the month of March, and will take the road with Little Big Town for The Bandwagon Tour in the summertime. More information can be found on her official website.
