Playing LP Field is ‘Another Dream Come True’ For Florida Georgia Line
One year ago Florida Georgia Line was playing the parking lot at LP Field during CMA Fest. Fast forward to 2013 and the now incredibly popular duo has earned two No.1 singles, collaborated with award-winning rapper Nelly, and toured with the likes of Jake Owen, Luke Bryan, and Taylor Swift.
The 2013 CMA Music Festival is underway and FGL is currently preparing to play one of their biggest shows yet – the nightly concerts at LP Field. The duo is set to take the stage on Saturday evening along with superstars such as Dierks Bentley, Kelly Clarkson, and Keith Urban.
It seems everything has come full circle for the duo. “Somehow this year they are letting us play inside Saturday night and that, that’s another dream come true,” FGL’s Brian Kelley tells CountryMusicIsLove . “This year it seems like just about every other day there is an email or a phone call of good news.”
FGL, who was recently crowned ACM New Artist of the Year, hopes to continue the momentum.
“We’ve got an amazing team around us and we are just very blessed. With every little bit of success it just makes us want to put our head down and work that much harder and ya know keep pushing on, writing great music.”
