Presenters Announced for 2016 American Country Countdown Awards

Scotty McCreery, Jennifer Nettles, and Jana Kramer are among the confirmed presenters for Sunday's show.

Presenters for Sunday’s 2016 American Country Countdown Awards have been revealed.

Country artists Chase Bryant, Sara Evans, Jana Kramer, Chris Lane, Maddie & Tae, Scotty McCreery, Jennifer Nettles, Michael Ray, Canaan Smith, and Dwight Yoakam have each been added as presenters.

Additionally,  American Idol winner Trent Harmon, Pop music icon Paula Abdul, Brooklyn Nine-Nine’s Terry Crews, So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley, and actor Luke Wilson have also been confirmed to present during the two-hour show, airing on FOX this Sunday, May 1 from The Forum in Inglewood, California.

Rising star Chris Janson has also been added as a performer.

Previously announced presenters include Academy Award-winner Matthew McConaughey, who will introduce Toby Keith and The Strangers’ Merle Haggard tribute, and Reba, who will present Brooks & Dunn with the NASH Icon Award.

The 2016 American Country Countdown Awards will also feature performances by Brooks & Dunn, Florida Georgia LineThomas RhettCarrie UnderwoodLuke BryanKelsea Ballerini, Cam, Dan + Shay, Sam HuntMartina McBride and Cole Swindell.

The American Country Countdown Awards honors country music’s biggest artists based on album sales and radio airplay. Winners for all categories are based on radio airplay charts, sales and streaming data from April 1, 2015 to March 28, 2016, provided by BuzzAngle Music. Touring data is provided by Pollstar’s “The Concert Hotwire.”
