Sad news, Gloriana fans. The trio has now become a duo following the announcement of Rachel Reinert’s decision to leave the band.

In a post to her personal Instagram, the singer explains her heavy decision and wishes her bandmates the very best.

“It is with much thought, consideration and prayer that I have chosen to part ways with Gloriana. It has been such an incredible ride and I have so many beautiful memories that I will cherish for a lifetime,” she writes in part. “This was not an easy decision, nor one that I took lightly, but I felt that it was time for me to move on and follow my heart. I sincerely wish Tom and Mike Gossin all the best.”

This won’t be the last fans hear from the Florida native, however.

“I am excited to announce that I have begun working on the next chapter of my life as a solo country artist. I will be taking the first part of this year to write and record my album and cannot wait to get the music out as soon as I possibly can.”

Gloriana first hit the Country music scene as a quartet in 2009 with the release of their debut single, “Wild At Heart.” After the release of their first album, member Cheyenne Kimball exited the group. Rachel, Tom, and Mike decided to move forward as a trio. Since then, they’ve released two albums, A Thousand Miles Left Behind (2012) and Three (2015).
