RaeLynn Reveals Her Husband Has Joined the Military in Emotional Post

Looks like RaeLynn will be flying solo this Valentine’s Day, but it’s all for a good reason.
The country singer has been all loved-up with her husband, Josh Davis, for quite some time as the pair dated for a while before tying the knot almost one year ago. Although she is typically the one heading out on the road for her music career, it’s Davis who is leaving this time as he has made the decision to join the armed forces and dedicate himself to serving the country.
RaeLynn took to her social media pages to let her fans know the life-changing circumstances upon them and to show her utmost support for her love on the big romantic holiday, even though he’s moved on to basic training at an undisclosed military base.
“IMPORTANT: My husband has always supported me in everything that I’ve wanted to do, yesterday began a new adventure for us. Joshua left for basic training to serve in our military and serve his Country. Saying I’m proud doesn’t scratch the surface of how I feel. I love his heart and the man that he is more and more every single day. I married up in every way. Please keep him in your prayers, thank you all for the support… prayers to all the families who have a loved one who serve. I’m thankful today for my HERO Josh and the best Valentine a wife could ask for. Miss you already ❤,” she wrote in an emotional Instagram post.
RaeLynn is also spending some time away from her home in Nashville as she travels across the country to tour with Blake Shelton on his Doin’ It to Country Songs Tour, kicking off later this week in Bakersfield, California.
