Randy Owen’s Tornado Scare Randy Owen found himself in the middle of a nervous situation earlier this week. He was in the midst of a People magazine photo shoot at his ranch in Ft. Payne, Alabama when tornado sirens went off. Along with the People crew of 8, Randy headed for the farm office to watch the weather reports. As they watched the TV, the tornado moved closer and closer and finally Randy got word to take shelter. Randy and the crew quickly piled into their vehicles and raced for the house where they sought shelter in the basement for 30 minutes. Luckily, the tornado never touched down on Randy’s property, but everyone was glad to be safe in Randy’s basement! The country issue of People that includes this photo shoot hits stands on February 6th.
