Country icon Randy Travis has revealed plans for a new compilation album of worship songs and hymns — plus an accompanying DVD — set for release on February 21.
The Precious Memories album will feature repackaged recordings of standards like “How Great Thou Art,” “I’ll Fly Away” and the Travis favorite “Three Wooden Crosses.” Meanwhile, the new Worship & Faith DVD was recorded in 2003 at Orlando, Florida’s Calvary Assembly of God, and includes live performances of songs like “Will The Circle Be Unbroken?” “Peace In The Valley,” “Sweet By and By” and more.
The recordings will be featured as a TV special on networks including PBS, TBN, DirecTV, DISH TV, FamilyNet, The Heartland Network, and more, while both projects will be available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores and Christian-lifestyle outlets around the country. It’s just the latest in a string of releases from the Country Music Hall of Fame member, recorded before his life-altering stroke in 2013.
