Rascal Flatts knew just the way to steal TODAY host Hoda Kotb’s heart by bringing sweet music to the forefront of her new daughter’s world.

The country trio stopped by the popular morning talk show on Monday (5/22) for their Citi Concert Series to promote their recently released tunes as well as perform some of their fan favorites on the Rockefeller Plaza in New York. While visiting for the day, front man Gary LeVox brought a special little instrument on set with him to pluck at for a bit before presenting it to Kotb as a gift.

Personalized with her daughter’s name on the front, the band thought it was a simple sentiment to show their congratulations over her new addition to the family. Combining Kotb’s favorite things, she couldn’t help but shed all the happy tears over the gesture.

During their appearance, the band also shared the craziest thing a fan has ever done to show their dedication, in which a woman fell brave enough to schedule her baby’s birth around one of their live shows.

“She actually had an emergency squad waiting outside the venue to take her straight to the hospital after our show,” explained Jay DeMarcus.

Taking the outdoor venue by storm, Rascal Flatts performed to thousands of shouting fans with hits like “Life is a Highway” and their current radio single, “Yours If You Want It.” They definitely got the Monday morning party started as fans (and some of the TODAY show hosts) danced along to every note.

Rascal Flatts also just recently announced they would be going back to Las Vegas in the fall for a limited time residency at the Venetian on the famous Strip. While they’ve hosted a couple short-time engagements in Sin City before, the guys are ready to give fans a taste of their latest tracks live in the intimate theatre setting.
