Reba Returns as Host for ‘CMA Country Christmas’

Merry Christmas, y’all! Reba McEntire will be spreading holiday cheer as the host of CMA Country Christmas for the second time.

“I’ve always cherished celebrating Christmas alongside family and friends, taking time to reflect on the season,” shared Reba in a press release. “I’m so excited CMA invited me back to host their show and am looking forward to fun singing carols with my friends.”

Joining the legendary singer for the holiday festivities for special performances will be Tony Bennett, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Amy Grant, Diana Krall, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Old Dominion, Brad Paisley, Michael W. Smith, Lindsey Stirling, The Isaacs, and Brett Young.

Reba took the reigns as host in 2017, after Jennifer Nettles’ seven-year streak.

“Reba epitomizes country and the cheer of the holiday season,” said CMA Chief Executive Officer Sarah Trahern at the time. “She’s also the most nominated female in CMA Awards history, so the fit couldn’t be more perfect.”

The ninth annual CMA Country Christmas special will tape on Thursday, Sept. 27 at Belmont University’s Curb Event Center in Nashville. It will air on ABC at a later date.

Tickets for CMA Country Christmas go on sale beginning Monday, Aug. 27 at 10:00 a.m. CST at CMAChristmas.com. Those planning to attend will get 20 percent off Uber rides to and from the center by using the code CMAChristmas.
