The five-day charity event raised 12.5 million dollars, enough to build two schools for over 2,500 children in Haiti.

The benefit was for The Andrea Bocelli Foundation and The Mahammad Ali Parkinson Center. Andrea Bocelli Foundation is aimed at supporting those living in poverty or overcoming barriers caused by illness and disability. And the Mahammad Ali Parkinson Center is a National Parkinson Foundation Center of Excellence and a resource for people with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. The Center was established in 1997 by Muhammad Ali.
