Put a hotdog on a stick and coat it with batter, and Reba McEntire will be your biggest fan forever.

While stopping by the set of The Late Late Show with James Corden on Tuesday night (4/10), Corden asked the country icon what the deal is about her love affair with corndogs. As seen in many memes spread throughout the internet, Reba loves to pose with the fried food snack and became a trending topic for her indulgent photos.

Reba defended herself, as well as the scrumptious treat, to the late-night host by saying that she’s pretty happy in most of the pictures she takes with her beloved corndogs. Corden admitted to her, though, that he never tried a corndog in his life due to growing up in England and brought out a plate of the greasy guilty pleasure for all of his guests to munch on.

Corden couldn’t resist the yummy flavors of the American delight, and Reba chowed down on hers right away with Lucy Hale tagging along in the hilarity on the couch. The host even joked that eating a corndog felt like “giving my mouth a cuddle” out of adoration for the meal.

During the show, Reba also talked up her competitive drive and desire to win every single year she is nominated for an award. Although she earned 16 ACM Awards in the past, that doesn’t stop her from feeling the fire when it comes down to the celebrated ceremony.

Reba will be the host of the 53rd Annual ACM Awards, which air live from Las Vegas on Sunday, April 15, at 8 p.m. EST on the CBS Television Network.
