Reba McEntire has plenty of on-camera work to her credit, from groundbreaking music videos to films like Tremors and of course, her long running TV sitcom, Reba. But this holiday season will feature her first ever Christmas movie, and she’s giving fans an early look.

Sharing a commercial for the Lifetime network’s It’s a Wonderful Lifetime holiday film lineup, fans get a quick look at some of McEntire’s Christmas in Tune, the new movie co-starring Dukes of Hazzard’s John Schneider.

“Here’s an early Christmas present for you – a sneak peek at @lifetimetv’s newest holiday movies – including mine!” McEntire wrote.

Back in March, the country icon announced her first ever Christmas movie, a heartwarming, musically-inclined film which finds her playing a character named Belle. Belle is a marketing executive about to lose her job, and her solution is to reunite a singing duo who haven’t spoken in years. It’ a long-shot plan that comes with the twist, since that duo just happens to be McEntire’s on-screen parents. The commercial shows McEntire and Schneider onstage together and also sharing some romantic quality time — and meanwhile, it also features previews of a few other Lifetime Christmas movies, including one starring country singer Jana Kramer titled The Holiday Fix Up.

The It’s a Wonderful Lifetime lineup begins playing on October 22, and fans of McEntire’s acting are in luck, because Christmas in Tune is just the first in a two-movie deal Reba McEntire struck with TV network.

“I am thrilled to partner with Lifetime for a return to television movies!” she said when it was announced. “My fans and I enjoy their programming and loved watching the Reba show there for so many years.”
