CMA Awards host Reba McEntire looked beautiful as she walked the red carpet prior to the awards show on Wednesday, November 11th, and she had a new special someone along with her. Dressed in a long, black gown peppered with sparkles, the singer stood next to her new boyfriend, actor Rex Linn, who sported a blue blazer.

The singer first revealed her new relationship on her podcast, Living & Learning with Reba McEntire, in early October, sharing that they connected during the pandemic lockdown. McEntire has since revealed to Good Morning America that she is, indeed, “in love,” and that it’s already affecting her music.

“[Being in love] really inspires me to find love songs, to find happy songs,” she told the show. “I’ve always been the queen of waltzes, the queen of sad songs, because I just gravitate to those kinds of songs.”

McEntire will take the CMA Awards stage tonight at Nashville’s Music City Center alongside her co-host, Darius Rucker. Tune into ABC at 8/7c to watch the show.
