Reba Reunites with Melissa Peterman on ‘Baby Daddy’

It’s been almost 15 years since the launch of Reba, the iconic entertainer’s weekly sitcom. During her time on the show, Reba and co-star Melissa Peterman, who played the hilarious role of the character Barbara Jean, became best friends, on the set and off.

Although the show has been off the air since 2007, Reba and Melissa have remained friends, and this week, Reba will reunite with her former co-star on the ABC Family show, Baby Daddy.

“We had a blast all week long, she’s one of my best friends,” Reba says of filming her guest role with Melissa.

On the episode, which happens to be the show’s summer finale, Reba plays the role of Charlotte, who is Bonnie’s (Melissa’s character) best friend… That is until Charlotte creates chaos as Bonnie gets ready to walk down the aisle.

“With Melissa Peterman everything is always fun,” Reba shares. “She came out when I did “I’m A Survivor” and just did a little skit on the stage with us. And then when I was out with George Strait, she did it again. And so, to get to be on her television show, it was just like jumping back in the swimming pool with all your buddies.”

The season finale of Baby Daddy airs this Wednesday (8/5) at 8:30/7:30c.
