Luke Bryan iHeartRadio Album Release - CountryMusicIsLove

On Wednesday (8/14), iHeartRadio hosted an exclusive Album Release Party for Luke Bryan’s highly anticipated release, Crash My Party, in New York City at the iHeartRadio Theater, presented by P.C. Richard & Son. Bobby Bones, host of The Bobby Bones Show, syndicated on country radio stations nationwide, joined Luke on stage for the festivities.

Only about thirty or so fans were lucky enough to attend this event, which was streamed live on iHeart Radio’s website. Yet, when Luke came out on stage, the applause and screams were amplified as if there were triple the amount of people there to see the superstar. Luke was full of smiles and jokes throughout, playfully bantering with both fans and Bobby Bones.

During the show, several of the studio cuts on the new album were played, with an introductory story from Luke about how they made the final cut. “That’s My Kind of Night,” “Rollercoaster” and “I See You” were a few of the stand-out tracks played. Luke told the crowd that this album is so different from his past projects because he had so many writers clamoring to get onto this record. He explained that, in the past, he had to write all of his songs and no one wanted to be on his albums. He said he was blessed that this has changed but that he had to scrap a lot of the songs he had written because the other songwriters’ tracks were better.

He added a special treat for the fans as he also performed three flawless versions of “I Don’t Want This Night To End,” “Drunk On You” and “Country Girl [Shake It For Me]” acoustically. The stripped down versions of these three past No.1 singles were performed with the passion and perfection fans have come to expect from Luke.

It was a unique experience to be so up close and personal with the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year. The iHeartRadio Theater was the perfect intimate, yet state-of-the-art setting to make the album release party an once-in-a-lifetime experience.
