RECAP: ‘The Voice’ Finale Part 1

The final four contestants on NBC’s “The Voice” took the stage Tuesday night for part one of the finale shows. Each of the remaining contestants sang an original song as well as a song with his/her coach. Special guests such as Brad Paisley, Pitbull, and Ne-Yo performed too. Paisley performed alongside summer tourmate (and “The Voice coach) Blake Shelton.

NBC announced Tuesday that the final eight contestants will head out on “The Voice” Live On Tour later this summer. The tour will feature performances from Team Christina’s top two artists, finalist Beverly McClellan and runner up Frenchie Davis; Team Blake’s top two, finalist Dia Frampton and runner up Xenia; Team Cee Lo’s top two, runner up Nakia and finalist Vicci Martinez; and Team Adam’s top two, runner up Casey Weston and finalist Javier Colon.

NBC also revealed that original songs that were performed on Tuesday night’s live performance episode by the four finalists will be released to radio immediately via Universal Republic Records. The original songs are: Vicci Martinez- “Afraid to Sleep”, Javier Colon-“Stitch By Stitch”, Dia Frampton- “Inventing Shadows”, and Beverly McClellan- “Lovesick.”

The winner of “The Voice” will be announced TONIGHT during part two of the finale (airing on NBC 8-9pm EST).

Special guests will appear tonight with the four remaining finalists for each team. Stevie Nicks will pair with contestant Javier Colon, while Pat Monahan (lead singer of Train) sings with Vicci Martinez and Ryan Tedder (lead singer of OneRepublic) will form a duet with Beverly McClellan. They will join previously announced special guest performer,Miranda Lambert, who will sing with the fourth finalist, Dia Frampton.
