Robin Williams Dead At 63: Country Stars React
The world lost a bright star in Robin Williams yesterday. The actor, 63, was found dead in an apparent suicide at his home in Northern California. According to the Marin County Sheriff’s office, authorities found Williams unresponsive, with the coroner ruling he died of asphyxia. His publicist, Mara Buxbaum, confirms that Williams had “been battling severe depression” and recently checked into a rehab facility.
Robin’s wife, Susan Schneider, says, “This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin’s death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions.”
Country stars took to Twitter to express their condolences and talk about how much Williams meant to them…
