Rodney Atkins To Host Third Annual ‘Music City Gives Back’ Concert on Tuesday

Rodney Atkins - Music City Gives Back - CountryMusicIsLove

On Tuesday, June 4, Rodney Atkins will host the Music City Gives Back benefit concert that will take over lower Broadway and feature performances by Justin Moore, Jana Kramer, and Josh Thompson. The event is free to the public and music is scheduled to begin at 6:00 p.m. on an outdoor stage set up on Broadway at Fifth Ave facing the river.

The third annual event will be raising funds and accepting donations of duct tape, work gloves, flashlights and other materials to aid in the relief of Oklahoma’s recent devastating tornado.

“Each year I gather some of my friends together to put on this show and have fun with our fans before CMA Music Fest, but the reason we get up here is to help the community come together to give our support to those in need,” shares Atkins. “With the recent disaster in Moore [Okla.], I knew that’s where we had to focus our efforts this year. I’m looking forward to the big night with Justin, Jana and Josh – we’re going to rock!”

With the help of sponsors Carl Black Chevrolet, City National Bank, Pixel Flex, Ruiz Foods and Wrangler Western Wear®, fans will be able to enjoy a night of great music at no cost and have the opportunity to contribute to Oklahoma tornado relief. Donations may be made on site.
