Ronnie Dunn Will Perform At Academy Of Country Music Awards
Ronnie Dunn is set to take the stage during the 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in April.
While Ronnie has performed live on countless award shows and television appearances during his career as half of Brooks & Dunn, he admits he’s a bit nervous for his solo debut.
“Nothing new-pressure. I feel that every time I walk up there to do it, hoping I can deliver that vocal,” he said on Tuesday at the ACM nominee press conference (quote via Country Weekly).
Dunn will perform “Bleed Red,” his debut single as a solo artist. The song is the most popular new single at country radio this week.
“I'm blown away by the fact that it jumped out and – two weeks ahead of time – and was most added,” he said. “So, I'm very humbled. I'm gonna go hide somewhere and let this thing do its deal and not get in the way. I feel like a lot of it is just friendship with people over the years (he laughs), you know? I'm very grateful.”
The official list of ACM performers has not yet been released.
