Country Music Hall of Fame member Ronnie Milsap, 73, was hospitalized on Friday night prior to a scheduled performance in Georgia. According to reports, the singer was treated for dehydration and has since been discharged from the facility.

He is slated to take the stage at the Saddle Up for St. Jude benefit concert this evening in Tuscumbia, Alabama, and according to event organizers, Milsap “is on his way” to Alabama and will appear as scheduled.

Milsap, a six-time Grammy winner, is best known for hits like “Smoky Mountain Rain,” “Daydreams Anout Night Things,” and “I Wouldn’t Have Missed It for the World.” This year marks Milsap’s 40th year as a Grand Ole Opry member.
