Monday, October 1, 2018 marks a day of remembrance as the country music community honors the 58 people killed at the Route 91 Harvest Festival one year ago.

To recognize the lives lost, country stations across the United States, as well as all-genre radio stations in the state of Nevada, will join record labels, publishers, agencies and other organizations effected by the tragedy to mark the anniversary with a moment of silence.

According to Rolling Stone the Academy of Country Music, Country Music Association, Universal Music Group, Big Machine Label Group and Sony Music Nashville are all expected to participate.

The moment of silence will be observed at 10:05 a.m. PT/1:05 p.m. ET.

The massacre occurred during the final night of the three-night for the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas. A lone gunman took aim at the crowd of thousands during Jason Aldean’s closing set, killing 58 people and injuring more than 500 others.

Aldean recently recognized the city’s first responders during a tribute at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Festival, which also took place in Vegas and marked his first performance back in the city since the shooting.

“On behalf of myself and my family and the country music community, I want to say thank you to the city of Las Vegas for your courage, strength and kindness. Tonight we are all proud to be Vegas strong,” the Georgia native said.
