Runaway June’s Hannah Mulholland Says ‘I Do’ In Romantic Elopement
The couple eloped just one year after getting engaged.
Runaway June’s Hannah Mulholland is a married woman! The singer and her fiancé, Ian Jay, tied the knot during a romantic ceremony in the California redwoods.
Mulholland shared the news with a photo to Instagram of her and her new husband shortly after their ceremony.
“WE ELOPED! We had a beautiful day in the California redwoods with our immediate family. A rainy morning hike, ceremony in the forest with our family playing live music, followed by an amazing local vegan dinner prepared especially for us by @thebewilderedpig, and a homemade wedding cake. 9 guests, 2 days, and 1 epic celebration. 🌲 I love you @ianphillipjay !”
Added Jay, “Yesterday I married my best friend and the most beautiful soul I’ve ever met! We had the most incredible day and one we’ll cherish forever. I love you so much @hannahsmusic.”
The couple began planning their wedding after Jay popped the question in September 2017 in their home state of California.
“just 2 crazy kids who decided they’re gonna marry each other. ~Hannah,” Mulholland tweeted about the engagement.
Mulholland’s wedding is one of Runaway June’s major milestones: The band is preparing to open for Carrie Underwood’s Cry Pretty World Tour 360 beginning in May 2019.
