Runaway June Singer Naomi Cooke Is Engaged to Martin Johnson

Runaway June member Naomi Cooke is engaged to be married, the country artist has revealed, posting a candid photo of herself with a sparkling diamond ring.
Sharing a photo on Tuesday (December 15) of herself and new fiancé Martin Johnson — who is the lead singer of the pop rock band, Boys Like Girls — Cooke wears a tasteful engagement band and makes a funny face with Johnson, noting her surprise at the news.
“By the look of my nails, he surprised me,” she wrote on the post.
Cooke is the lead singer of the country trio Runaway June, who scored a Top 10 hit at country radio with “Buy My Own Drinks” in 2018. Also featuring Jennifer Wayne and Natalie Stovall as members, the group most recently released the nostalgic track “We Were Rich” as their latest single, and just unveiled a Christmas special concert performance with Armed Forced Entertainment, intended to brighten the holidays for troops stationed overseas.
Johnson is the front man for the new wave act, The Night Game, and also a songwriter and producer with cuts recorded by Avril Lavigne, Daughtry, Jason Derulo, Christina Perri, Gavin Degraw, Hot Chelle Rae, and more.
Many of Cooke’s famous friends responded to the announcement with messages of surprise and congratulations, with band mate Stovall writing “I mean. THE BEST!!!! So so so so excited for y’all!!!” Country artist Carly Pearce shared, OH MY GAHHHHH CONGRATS!” And Maddie & Tae member Taylor Dye wrote OMGGG CONGRATS!,” among others.
