Russell Dickerson and Wife Kailey Share Sweet Gender Reveal Video

Russell Dickerson and his wife Kailey have revealed the gender of their baby in a very fun way. In a video posted to social media, the two of them went to the doctor together, but only Russell would see the gender. He revealed to viewers that they were expecting a boy and then went to the store to buy cute baby clothes. He returned to their home, laid out the clothes, decorated the room with blue streamers, and surprised Kailey with the news.
Kailey posted a photo from the moment she opened her eyes and saw the clothes on Instagram. She also explained her excitement for raising a little boy.
“As a girl raised with 5 older brothers, this is everything I ever wanted and more,” she writes. “I love the boys in my life so much and now I get to raise one of my own.”
She also shared that her idea for the gender reveal was inspired from a dream she had in which Russell found out and then surprised her with the news.
“I had a dream Russ did the gender reveal for me, just the two of us,” she writes. “He found out the gender, bought baby clothes, decorated our future nursery & surprised me! So that’s what we did! In the dream it was a little boy turns out my dream is real life!”

A few of the couple’s country music friends commented on the post to congratulate them. Mitchell Tenpenny wrote, “Haha so awesome man!! Congrats to y’all!” RaeLynn chimed in, writing, “Soooooo sweet!!!” And Tyler Hubbard’s wife Hayley commented, “This is the best RD! The cutest and most thoughtful ever!”
Russell and Kailey announced they were expecting in April.
