Russell Dickerson and Thomas Rhett have the kind of bromance that any guy would be jealous of, both on and off the stage.

The two spent a lot of time together last year as they bonded on the road for Rhett’s Home Team Tour. Whenever the pair get together to hang out in Nashville with their wives, it seems like they know how to live it up and make memorable moments with their friend group. But Dickerson also looks up to Rhett in terms of his work ethic, and leans on him for future advice on how to conduct a tour in the right manner.

“I really respect Thomas in a way that he has put a lot of resources into his live show. Like his production, his lighting, his band director, his musical director that he hired, like, he puts it all on the line for his concerts. And so, just to watch and see what little nuances they change here and there, I love watching his show,” Dickerson explained to Sounds Like Nashville during an interview.

Rhett even goes so far to suggest certain companies or businesses to pair with when Dickerson gets to be out there on his own traveling for shows. The recommendations definitely guide the “Yours” singer on the right path, noting how well his pal does in his live performances.

“We talk about it a lot, like what he would do again, what he wouldn’t do again, and just learning from him as he’s spending all of his money to do all that,” the singer joked. “No, I’m just kidding. But, yeah, just to learn from what he loves about this certain company maybe, or like, ‘Don’t use this company because they suck and this or that.’ I’m like, ‘Alright perfect.’ Like that saved me hundreds of thousands of dollars you know. And so, it’s just cool to have that kind of sounding board back and forth.”

Dickerson will hit the road with Rhett for a few shows on the Life Changes Tour during the spring of 2018. More information can be found on Dickerson’s website.
