For his birthday this year, Ryan Hurd couldn’t have picked a better venue than to celebrate at Sesame Street. Embracing his inner child, Hurd and his wife Maren Morris surrounded themselves with the happy neighbors for a fun-filled day in honor of the “To A T” singer.
“I share a birthday with Cookie Monster. I am also 9 years old,” Hurd captioned a photo with one of Sesame Street’s most famous residents, Cookie Monster.
Claiming her heart would explode from the magical day, Morris also shared in the moment, wishing her hubby the happiest birthday.
“Happy birthday to this grouch. This is hands down the best birthday @ryanhurd could have,” she wrote as the two shared a kiss while inside of Oscar the Grouch’s famous trash can.
The visit wasn’t complete without Morris, Elmo, Big Bird, Ernie and more sharing in the singing of “Happy Birthday” as Hurd smiled on. “Thank you so much,” he said as the tune concluded. “This is the best birthday ever!”
The birthday festivities happened just days before the singer announced plans to perform for headlining shows in early 2019. The trek will kick off on January 17 at The Troubadour in Los Angeles and hit New York City and Chicago before wrapping in Nashville, TN on February 28.
