Sam Grow “Is It You” Lyric Video Premiere

Sam Grow

Sam Grow is looking for the girl of his dreams with his new song, “Is It You.” She’s gotta have an accent, no time for drama and be able to raise a little hell, Sam sings. The Maryland native co-wrote the single with Kyle Jacobs and Billy Montana after moving to Nashville in late 2013.

While it’s the first release with his new producers, Kyle and Matt McClure, Sam has made a name for himself, touring the country for the past seven years. During that time, Sam has released two albums independently, selling more than 30,000 copies and charting in the top 20 on iTunes. He’s also built his touring fan base from the ground up to 250 shows a year. The motivation came from another girl in his life.

“When I was 21, I had a little girl, Emmry Harlow, and the first time holding her was my wakeup call,” he recalls. “Instantly, when you’re holding a life in your arms, you realize that everything you do from that point on directly affects that life. I never wanted to tell her that I wanted to play music full time and wasn’t doing just that. I wanted to be able to provide for her off of my dreams so she would always know she can do whatever it is that she loves.”

Help the 28-year-old achieve that goal and watch his new lyric video for “Is It You.”
